Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model and producer from the United States. After gaining fame through his work on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition, he has appeared in 22 shows on television, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order as well as Law & Order. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly tough fighter. In two years the cancer is now into the stage of remission. The treatment at an early stage had a negative effect on the body. It hampered his development. As he began to take action, financial stability was the ultimate goal. He'd experienced poverty during his early years. He commented, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I'm in need of to have financial security, otherwise my life will feel out-of-control for me." He looks back on his youth and feels an urge to do something against the bullying. His experience of being a victim is heartbreaking for him. On and off film, DJ's character would love to be a father. DJ admits that directors aren't able to put his character in these characters. For the foreseeable future, he would like to be a father to a child.
